So Delicious – Coconut Milk: A review
5I have started drinking Coconut Milk. I have said before that I don’t like Coconuts at all –but coconut oil, water and milk don’t seem to have the typical coconut flavor that I remember tasting when eating an Almond Joy or Mounds bar. That may have been the problem to begin with looking back. ….
I have been drinking the So Delicious Coconut Milk brand and have tried the original and the vanilla flavored. I gotta tell you — it’s ‘so delicious’ just like the name says! It’s a bit thicker than milk — I mix it with my all natural chocolate protein powder and it seriously reminds me of chocolate milk and I love chocolate milk!
I have also tried their dairy free frozen desserts: Purely Decadent Ice Cream Chocolate and Vanilla Bean flavors and although a bit more coconut in flavor — I loved them too!
Coconut milk is a great alternative to anyone trying to eliminate Dairy in their diet. From the So Delicious website:
For centuries cultures around the world have revered and relied upon coconut for its nutritional powers and infinite practical uses. Native tradition attributes healing and life-giving properties to the fruit-bearing palm, which is why it is often called, ‘Tree of Life’.
In western society, the health benefits of coconuts are just beginning to be understood. The mystery appears to be in the favorable fats found in coconut.
Although coconut contains saturated fat, a closer examination shows that not all saturated fats pose a health problem. Saturated fat chains exist in a variety of lengths which impact the body differently.
Coconuts have gotten a bad rap and it’s time to start incorporating them back into a healthy diet, so go ahead and try coconut milk and So Delicious is available at many local stores! I heartily recommend it!
Saturday Workout at CrossFit

I love that CFI has a free class for anyone on Saturday mornings that wants to try CrossFit. There is no hard sell — because for most, once they try CrossFit -they are hooked. No Hard sell necessary.
My friend Tina tried it today. Her husband already joined and is a die hard CrossFitter. She did a great job! This pic was taken AFTER the workout –and we are still smiling.
