I was that person at the restaurant last night that had all these special requests — I couldnt have the appetizers and asked that mine be a salad with no cheese or croutons. They added fresh basil, tomatoes and romaine…it was really good. For dinner, I asked if they could just give me grilled chicken breast with a veggie. Acorn squash was on the menu so yes, I asked all the questions — what did they cook it with etc. They baked it and just didn’t add additional butter or add in brown sugar they normally do.

What shocks me though is when you are eating out with people, they tend to try to pressure you into having a glass of wine or having a bit of their food etc. It’s kinda crazy –what is wrong with me just wanting to keep it healthy. I told the waitress I had a restricted diet and wanted to leave it at that but inevitably people want to know what’s going on…and not sure if it’s because it makes them uncomfortable, they want to try to influence you to go off track. I stuck to my guns tho –and as you can see from the pic, had a healthy meal and some water. End of Story!

I am not happy with Coach Conan if I am going to be honest — yesterday was a workout that taxed your shoulders, and guess what today did??? Taxed my shoulders. It sucked.
